1. What we collect

When you sign up for an AruYog diet plan, we collect:

  • Basic contact details (name, email, phone)
  • Health and lifestyle inputs (age, weight, height, food preferences, medical conditions you choose to disclose)
  • Payment metadata via Razorpay (we never see your card details directly)

2. Why we collect it

Solely to generate your personalised diet plan and deliver it to you. We never sell your data or share your health and plan details with advertisers. Separately, our website uses standard analytics and advertising-measurement tools that collect anonymised usage and conversion data — see §7 for exactly what these are and how to opt out.

3. How we store it

Your data is encrypted at rest (AWS KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.3). It's stored in AWS data centres in India (ap-south-1, Mumbai). Only the minimum staff needed to support you have access.

4. Your rights under DPDP Act, 2023

As a data principal under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act:

  • Right to access: See what data we hold about you
  • Right to correction: Update incorrect information
  • Right to erasure: Have your data deleted
  • Right to grievance redressal: Reach out via the contact below

Email privacy@aruyog.com with your request. We'll respond within 7 days.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for 12 months after your last plan, then delete it automatically. You may request earlier deletion anytime.

6. Children

AruYog Diet is intended for users aged 18 and above. For users under 18, parental consent is required.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit our website and how they use it, so we can improve it. This sets cookies in your browser and collects anonymised usage data — pages viewed, device type, approximate location, and how you reached us. We anonymise IP addresses, and we never use this data to identify you personally or sell it. You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our ads perform and to reach people who may be interested in our plans. It records anonymised actions on our website (such as page views and completed purchases) and shares those signals with Meta. It does not send Meta your health inputs or the contents of your diet plan. You can control this through your Meta ad preferences and your browser's cookie settings.

8. Third-party services

We use Razorpay for payments, Meta WhatsApp Business API for delivery, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for website analytics and advertising measurement, and AWS for infrastructure. Each has its own privacy practices — we recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.

9. Contact
